Biography
Christina Mills was born and raised in the Maryland/Washington, D.C. area and relocated to California for college. She has called the San Diego area home for over 20 years, where she lives with her husband and their two young children. Ms. Mills currently serves on the Board of Directors for the NEUROfit Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing physical therapy services to children and adults throughout San Diego.
A committed advocate for children with rare genetic disorders, Ms. Mills is devoted to raising awareness, supporting affected families, and improving access to medical care and research. Her personal connection to the rare disease community drives her work in navigating complex healthcare systems and promoting early diagnosis, innovative treatments, and inclusive health policies.
In addition to her advocacy work, Ms. Mills is an avid baker and a proud volunteer with Cake4Kids, a nonprofit organization that delivers custom cakes to children in foster care and underserved communities
